I'm interested in seeing the venues in person. Do you offer tours?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Tours may be scheduled Monday through Friday. To schedule one, please send an email to director@truesouthernevents.com. We ask that guests arrive 5-10 minutes ahead of time so that tours may begin exactly when scheduled. If guests do not arrive at the venue within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time of their tour, it may be rescheduled.

Question 2

How can I secure my date?

Accepted Answer

To reserve a date and use of our venue at Rocky River, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit and signed contract. The non-refundable deposit goes toward the overall cost of your event. The full balance is due 90 days prior to your event. Payments can be made by credit card, debit card, checks or online bank transfer. Checks should be made out to True Southern Events and mailed to 4365 Highway 24, Suite E, Anderson, SC 29626.

Question 3

Do you provide catering services?

Rocky River does not provide on-site catering. Renters are permitted to use outside catering with pre-approval by the True Southern Events management team.

Question 4

May we provide our own alcohol?

Accepted Answer

Alcohol may be brought on-site by the client, however, it must be opened and served by a pre-approved caterer or pre-approved professionally insured bar service.

Question 5

What does the venue rental include?

Accepted Answer

The standard Rocky River rental packages include 12 hours of access to the venue for your event, along with 60" tables - round (10), wooden garden chairs (100), 6' tables - rectangle (4), and 8' tables - rectangle (4). Question 6

Do I need to hire a wedding planner or event coordinator?

True Southern Events, LLC does require a day-of coordinator for your wedding day. For small events, a planner or coordinator is not required.

Question 7

Are decorations allowed?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We welcome decorations for special events, however, we do have certain limitations. Paper confetti, glitter, unprotected candles, silk flower petals, and sand are strictly prohibited. Hay and birdseed are permitted outdoors only. We ask that you respect the walls and furniture, and abstain from use of nails, screws, or staples. If you choose to use candles, we require that they are enclosed in glass containers with at least 3-inches above the flame to prevent damage to any surfaces, linens, and decorations.

Can I have a styled photoshoot at Rocky River?
